One-Forty-One

My disaster sinking faster
Took my hand said it was shallow
One second you had my back the next lead me to the gallows
Now the waters filling up my lungs and it's
Getting a little hard to swallow
Should have never let you take the lead
When you were always meant to follow
You always said you would stay forever
Thought I heard you say we were so good together
I told you once but you should know right from the start
You didn't break my heart
You didn't even dent it
I had some time to think
On the drive back to one-forty-one
I find it hard to believe
Four years are over and done
Guess I don't have to waste more time with second guessing
And I'l cut all my losses and count my blessings
You always said you would stay forever
Thought I heard you say we were so good together
I told you once but you should know right from the start
You didn't break my heart
You didn't even dent it
Well I can't get it right
But I can work with wrong
I can't be satisfied
But I guess that it keeps me pressing on

The back door is never locked
Come in before you sober up
Whether striking out or coming down
There's a place for you on this broken couch
It's getting harder just to stay here
We always seem to forget how much we have left
Surviving on KD and cheap beer
I'm beginning to hate the west
And everytime that I get comfortable
It's taking all my friends
I"m doing my best to let everyone see
The winter depressions not getting to me
Here i am I'm falling asleep
In a room lit by only The Simpsons on my t.v
We may not live like royalty
But at the end of the day it's still nice to say
We're the kings of Queen Street
And I feel like I've been wasting my breath
Constantly struggling and trying to pretend
You can't solve all you're problems with the money that you spend
And are all the dollars and cents worth losing a friend
Here i am I'm falling asleep
In a room lit by only The Simpsons on my t.v
We may not live like royalty
But at the end of the day it's still nice to say
We're the kings of Queen Street
Here i am I'm falling asleep
In a room lit by only The Simpsons on my t.v
We may not live like royalty
But at the end of the day it's still nice to say
We're the kings of Queen Street
